First Granite Crystal VIN# Post Here

To make matters worse, I've got a Corvette guy that keeps on stopping by my office letting me know he can order a 2020 C8 Stingray for less than a Gladiator LE. He would probably get it sooner than my GCM LE. I wonder if they make lift kits for a C8

It sure is frustrating that they continue to open up new orders (also opened base Sport for order today too), but still can't even schedule a start of build on 107 days/15 weeks/3.5 month orders.

No... I think the LE’s did sell out in one day... it’s just that half of the 4190 were purchased/ordered by dealerships! ;{

There were people still ordering LEs in May. They never sold out "in one day", like the marketing folks would have you believe.

what you can't order any granite crystal in a rubicon trim? So they closed the order banks? This is giant leap in the wrong direction. Can anyone else confirm that, not that I don't believe @Rebel JT. @spenchey can you confirm that the order banks for granite are no longer open?

Does that mean FCA is throwing in the towel and giving up? What about the orders they already accepted? Will they be able to meet those? If not let us know sooner rather than later. I will be extremely pissed off if I get a letter in the fall saying we are sorry but we don't know how to paint granite and your order has been cancelled. If that is the plan tell us now so I can move on.

Nothing has been produced in a GRANITE CRYSTAL LE yet.....we are way beyond any eta's dates etc. Have not heard anything about closing Granite order banks. Its been the lack of paint or matching paint or whatever other reason we dont know about. The reason for no steel bumpers is they have already been allocated to build all 4190 LE models. You can supposedly order the steel bumper by itself from the dealer, more money too.

Just got an update from Emily on Chat. Said I went D1 on 7-8-19 and anticipated ship date of 7-26-19

Why are you quoting me? I know all of this. You said you have not heard anything about closing the granite order banks? That information came from the 2 posts above mine which I quoted. That is all know about it and was hoping someone could verify it.

Well decided to break my rule and have a 2nd interaction with Jeep chat this week.

Guess what? They gave me a date for the first time. Said my JT was scheduled to start build process the week of 8/5/19. Here is where it gets weird, they said I am still D status. I thought if you had a date for the build it was D1. I guess I don't have a exact date but rather a week.
