its going down yall. I'll have a full writup video coming soon.

The RD245 is designated as a rear only air locker for the m220 dana 44 in the sport and Sahara JL Wrangler. I checked the dimensions and have confirmed they will fit thus far.

This combined with my super 44 35 spline kit for the jt will be more robust and stronger than any previous Dana 44 of any Generation. The advantek is getting an overhaul.

Dimensions look good for ring gear.

m210 front diff 10006286 doesn't cross reference with any rear jeep jl wrangler m220. Is there a difference? We will have to find out.

I called ARB Australia and verified all the measurements with a feeler gauge and a caliper.

There is a discrepancy at the bearing surface however. Its about 130 thou difference. Since its on the end of the carrier, its not a measurement that should effect setup bearings or shim packs.

Drilled and tapped the hole in the stock location for a rubicon. The sport axles are just like the rubicon housings. There is a large cavernous area to make mods to and run you locker hose or wires.

Awesome video. I've learned about half of what I know about working on cars from youtube videos, and this was top shelf. Great submission and information for the community. Thank you sir!

Got a cool inside look of a sport dana 44 and show you the cool feature dana added.

It was made for the Rubicon model but the sport and Overland models get to utilize as well. The Rubi vs narrow Sport axle; how they are the same, but different, in this episode of tewltalk.

As a custom metal fabricator, welder, and machinist in my past life (spent 15 years doing that professionally), one tip I will recommend when drilling through an axle housing, is to place a strong magnet on the inside of the differential housing, right under where you plan on drilling through, to collect chips & shavings. It will keep them from going everywhere, and getting lodged into nooks and crannies and showing up after you've reinstalled everything and causing an issue later on down the road from premature wear. :like:

Thank you for the reply. In my video, at 4:15, I did just that. I used a magnet, brake cleaner, shop towels and a shop vacuum. That axle is clean. Did you watch the whole thing? ;)

Yes, but I was talking about PRIOR TO the drilling. It will save a lot of that cleanup. And yes, It was a good video. :like:
