First Transmission Drain and Fill

If I was nearby, I´d help you out then have you help me. I am leaning back toward getting one of these just for the fact it has a drain plug.

I have another pan I am considering having a hole drilled in it and a threaded bung welded in it then adding a drain plug .

I was considering either that pan or buying an new pan and having a drain plug welded into it and then having it Cerakoted…

The Dorman pan is high-impact plastic like the OE pan on every other vehicle that uses the 8-speed in the Stellantis lineup, which means no rust concerns, fluid stays cooler, and you get a proper drain plug.

I still have the original factory trans pan and it is steel. thick steel. if anyone wants it.

So than I may consider the PPE pan…
Not sure though, doesn’t sound like it is easy to get in.
