I bet it’s hard to keep gravel in it on the drive home. 😁

One of the reasons I chose this guy to build the tray was because he agreed to some specific requests that I had for the build. One of the most important things was to keep the iconic tail lights. One, because they are part of what makes a Jeep a Jeep and 2, in order to keep the blind spot sensors.

although he had no idea how he was going to do it exactly, this was the result:

Do you have a sketch of what this will look like upon completion?
Love the idea and curious to see what it will become.

How about a flat bed Gladiator for something different?

Been a long time coming, but always the plan for my Stinggray 2020 Rubicon.
First stage of an overland build.

I consider myself a Craftsman... been working with my hands since I was just a tad. And Thank You.... it is not only refreshing to see younger generations doing the same thing... it is heartening.

This is what built our country, and it is what builds self reliance and self respect. Keep it up, it's going to be great.

Thanks, from an Aussie!

But this is way out of my league, having a small workshop doing the build.

No, have had some input into it though

this guys is used to doing hilux’s and land cruiser utes (don’t think you get those in the States). This is his first Gladiator though.

Here’s the test fit of the tray. They’ve had a bugger of a job with all the rear sensors

Under the tray there a 60ltr (15 gallon) water tank, slide out draw and two under body tool boxes will go between the flares and indicators.

Pretty happy with the way it looks so far

Are you gonna have a canopy on there?
Did you get the Diesel or the Gasser? I often see Aussies showing love to good diesels!
