Nice rigs. Very curious to hear your driving impressions. You had a rather built Tacoma and clearly knew how to wheel it. How did the stock Rubicon compare? You literally wheeled it right away. A few on here are probably curious.

Better in every way. Obviously front articulation was always kinda limiting, lockers out the gate are massive for the small amount of rock krawljng I did in the jeep, pretty much the same width with minimal extra length that will be negated by this ground clearance, I had to do work to fit those 35s is much cutting and rubbing, interior is miles ahead of Toyota, I just feel wind a bit more like when I had a rooftop tent. That’s just off the top of my head lol, I loved the look of the Toyota but to do what I want it was a no brained to switch to the JT.

I get it. Welcome to the new addiction. Look forward to watching your build. Looks like you are going big right out the door! I appreciate your attention to details like the blue rings.

Thanks, I’m super happy with how they came out! A couple more axle reinforcements to do to hold off till tons and the next big purchase is a gofastcamper!

I get you. I lust after 37s, but I am not sure I am ready to commit to all the upgrades to make them sustainable. I'm on 33s now. Have you stripped it down? I love wheeling with no doors or roof. much more immersive experience.

Had globex performance work on my jeep so finally put together! Rock Krawler 3 inch pro-x no limits suspension with falcon 3.1 shocks on 17 kmc grenades wrapped in a 40x13.50r17 nitto trail grapplers! Still need my truss’s welded on and chromally axle shafts before I start hitting the big trails. The only chance of me running a full size spare was if it would fit underneath a gofastcamper but looks like that won’t be happening so patch kit at all times it is.

Rubs only on the rock rails (not on trail of course) so getting those trimmed up after the rain stops and I’ll be doing some flex testing on some local trails. Fender chop is ordered and waiting on some blue rubicon stickers.

Little photo dump for a NJ pines test run to see how the suspension does with flexing and the whoops. Results were that they do fantastic!

Got a front truss and c tabs welded on by Globex performance and put on some Artec inner fender liners to get this damn 40s to fit. They sent me the wrong ones but I had my buddy’s we were throwing on his to trace and cut. Also ran out of black paint and the blue I used wasn’t bright enough but I’ll get back to it and redo it at some point.

If you ever want to check out a GFC in person prior to spring 22, let me know man. I have a V1 and not a V2 but it might be worthwhile. I am in NJ/PA so wouldn't be difficult to meet up đź‘Ť

Solid build, where in the pines are you going? I usually see people at Wharton near-ish shamong.

Oh damn lemmie see some pics! I had one on order that was almost ready when I had the Tacoma and I got two buddy’s who have them on their Tacoma’s but I haven’t seen a gladiator one in person. And honestly I don’t know the names of the pines locations
