Yes I searched first, and I didn’t find a definitive answet.

noticed today that my fuel door closes and “clicks” but then the door is in no way locked or secured in. It can just pop out easy with normal driving winds.

i found the parts on mopar but the diagram was no help. Anyone ran into this?

Its happened to me 2x in the last 3 or so months. After about 2 mins of fiddling with it, it locked back in.
When it finally locked in, I ended up manually pushing the plunger with my finger a couple times and then closing the door very very slowly (with some moderate / medium pressure), it locked back in.

Good luck

I noticed this recently with mine, but I've been in sub-zero weather.
Once I got back to more moderate temperatures (20-40ºF) it was OK.

Well, I'll be go to hell. Happened to me twice. With my faith in the human race I thought someone was screwing with me. A buddy put a for sale sign on my Gladiator, so I zip tied a (Harbor Freight) cowbell under his truck. I thought he was screwing with me again. I gave him too much credit, he probably won't retaliate, the cowbell is going to be hard to top. Thanks for clearing this up. Going to keep a eye on the door now.
