Getting AMP Research PowerSteps installed what to d with takeoff mopar heavy duty rock rails w/ step

I did the build assuming that the "step" would work as an actual step. It doesn't. The sticker shows $1095 or something close. Anyway as title says I'm having the PowerSteps installed in a week. I haven't talked to the shop about "tradein value" but I don't know if they will offer anything. Tried to search here and didn't find much of anything.
So... Is there a market for these? I'm assuming they have some value to someone but how much?

Any advice greatly appreciated.
