The kids got me a cargo net for Mother's Day to put groceries in but I don't have any way to attach it in the truck bed. I want to screw hooks into the existing holes, but I haven't found anything. The holes won't take a 1/4" bolt, it's gotta be something just slightly smaller. I'd rather not spend $300 on a rail system. Thank you!

They are metric, try M6 or M8.

Since 1/4" converts to 6.35mm, the M8 will be too big and the M6 a squeak smaller (and maybe that'll be enough).

I just bought some M6 bolts at Lowes and they seem too thick. It would not screw into the hole? Anybody else have this issue? Could my bed take an M5 instead?

Do you have a spray in bedliner? If so, the bolt holes probably need cleaned out.

Or somebody put the wrong size screws in the bin.

Thanks Guys, It was the Bed liner. I picked at the threads a bit and then let my impact driver do the rest. I was worried about stripping them before.
