Gladiator Bed - Topper/Cap

Hey all - Has anyone purchased/ordered a bed topper (aka cap)? Heading out on a Colorado adventure soon (from MN) with the family and will need the added room for camping gear and all of the wife's clothes and shoes.
My discussions with a few local suppliers have resulted in "they don't make one yet" - but I am sure there is something out there that works well.

Not quite right but with a 3” spacer the roofs will line up,
Not ideal but a very close fit until there is something available.

I do not. Just set it on there to see how it lined up.
Once it is installed (in 2 weeks or so) I will.

No offense taken as I agree 100%. Just a stop gap measure until a better solution is found.

I think the topper you posted is a custom built unit? I think I came across it before. If so could you share the link? I believe there were many pics.

If your SURE there's something out their that works well . . . well show US ! Fact is your right, "they" haven't got the goods yet, and I, for one, won't be buying a "rough draft" and become someones guinea pig ! I don't mind waiting till I find what it is I'm looking for . . . and I honestly don't know yet what it is I'm looking for as a "best Possible" solution to a Problem I don't quite have yet . Such a Headache I now have ! Ugh ! Whatever "it is," gonna be one sweet thing that I will enjoy, and I won't care what anyone else thinks of or commons on . . . I'll be out and Far Far Away from the Madding Crowd .

Best I can find, so far, is Bozeman's own (Montana) - 'gofastcampers.com' . Their is one or 2 others but they are not fully homegrown, and more expensive . Pretty sure others will follow . . . just in time for when I'm "ready" to order ! I wish the 'Go Fast' Bed-Shell were better designed - like say Jeeps 1-off Jeep Safari Concept . give me THAT Frame with integrated side panels and I'm willing to Pay for it, but don't get too greedy ! edit Thursday evening 27th . . . otherwise it's back to the Future -- a good old fiberglass CAP and BedRug Liner !

Jeep/MOPAR needs to come out with one that continues the body lines and replicates the back of the cab. It would look like an extended Wrangler.
