Let’s get some numbers here. How many of us are there? @JeepCares there seems to be a lot of us here.

Vote here if your Gladiator bottomed out before or after (doesn’t really matter) the install of a lift kit, leveling kit, wheel/tire swap, aftermarket suspension mods, or any combination thereof. If it bottoms out, it bottoms out.

If I left out an option let me know and I’ll add it to the choices.

Wow, the first 10 are Rubicon Diesels. That’s telling.

Our HA Diesel only does it if I feel it "should". Basically hitting a big bump going fast. Didn't hit the poll.

I usually don't bottom out driving down the road. But of I roll over speed bumps at around 7-10 mph on the down side I usually hit pretty hard.

You have a sport S and a HA?

It’s absolutely jarring when it happens.

I updated the poll so you can choose two options in case you own both a HA and a Sport S.

No, I just have a High Altitude Diesel. No bumpstop hammering unless I do something stupid.

You didn’t want to select the HA option above?

Hi, new member here. I'm compelled to chime in on this issue--should the front end of my '21 Diesel Gladiator Rubi bottom out when entering a grocery store parking lot? Or when traversing over a normal mound-style speed hump/bump? I didn't think so either...seems either too short on front travel or springs too soft up front with the extra weight of the 3.0. Thanks for those who've shed light on this subject already, I will bring up this issue to the dealer first visit.

Rubicon Diesel....... stock NO modifications.... documented at dealership THREE separate times the passenger front bump stops bottoming out going over potholes..... waited months for stock replacement front shocks...no change bottoming out still remains. Jeep don't care says case closed. Known problem, known documented issue, equals NOTHING being done.

I get your frustration. Performance should be better than that for this specific vehicle model.

Rubi here.. mine has been at dealership two weeks now.. The SA and techs all can re-create.. There is a STAR record open.. and seems Jeep engineers are aware .. however there is no fix currently from what I am being told. That being said.. I am not taking mine back anytime soon .. unless remedied.. also my roof leaks.. If they are unwilling/unable to provide a fix.. they can keep it. Mine has 750miles on it. In my possession one week lol.
