Question for you: are you saying the play/noise you showed in your video can happen just when accel/decel without the clutch being depressed? I am really curious, if so, because mine makes a very similar noise when coming up my driveway (hill) whether I use the clutch or not...

Yes. Its basically just like 5 degrees of free play. So any time force is applied either from drivetrain or engine, it will the ability to rotatly slightly freely if each other.

That 5th shock is not on ”all” 6MT‘s built. Some 6MT builds have them and some do not.

All but the Mojave’s do. If you have other info please provide

I have a 6MT Rubicon and it does not have the 5th shock. There are other threads that discuss this.
