Someone make this product... by summer time :) Can someone photoshop this better?

A frame (one unit or in parts). Like this:

It could attach/fit like this maybe:

It should be removable altogether.

When on the Jeep, it can be as-is, or with just a soft top, or with soft top and sides, or soft top and sides and front and back. Zippers are fine, and plastic windows all around. Please no need for complicated folding up and down of top. The mechanisms and extra piping to make it fold take away from the function and clean look.

So can have it in the following configurations:

EDIT: To make it better, more versatile (2 in 1)... when used as just a frame sell adapters to attach kayaks, bikes, surfboards, etc on top. So it can be used as either a canopy to protect cargo from the elements or a rack to carry toys. Also another design for the sides is they could roll up and be tied as opposed zippered of.

EDIT: For those into overlanding, May want it to be strong enough to hold a tent setup on top, or at least offer an attachment for a pull out shade on the side to creat a canopy for camping. Not original, just combining features. Maybe too much.

EDIT: At the very least if just offering the frame, then accommodate for the stock OME tonneau cover!

We need a section on this forum dedicated to product requests, so manufacturers can see what we want. The Gladiator is a whole new platform. It’s not entirely a Wrangler and it’s not entirely a pickup truck. It’s something unique with potential for new ideas.

We need space where we can:
1) Propose product ideas
2) Collaboratively refine it
3) Vote on interest
4) Even gather commitments/intent
5) Give manufacturers the rights/freedom to build it
6) Enable manufacturers to work with us to make it realistic to produce/two way dialog

Make it possible on this forum. :)

Thanks. Close but not the same. It should be completely boxy/squared off for a Jeep, and without those arches in the middle. None of these curves and slants. It should scream safari. More like the old military trucks. We can’t think of it as just another pickup truck. Just my 2 cents.

The bed is only five feet long.

I'd attach to roll bar on the truck end.

Then add a one piece support square with feet inside bed on tailgate end.

Run your cables between the support square which sits in the bed against the tailgate and then the roll bar.

Wrap it with screen or windows whatever.

It will flex, it will support lightweight material, it will adjust to your desired extension. It will pack in a duffle bag.

It'll be ugly and unsafe at speed unless done right.

This even sounds like a bad idea to me. But it might do.

You’re funny. That’s creative! Let’s keep the creativity flowing.

Oh and to make the original above even more versatile, when it’s just the frame, ie no top or sides them make adapters to attach bikes, kayaks, etc on top. so it’s multipupose two in one... a frame for carrying fun stuff OR an enclosed canopy to “protect” cargo inside from the elements.

Ok I’ll shut up now.

I was actually thinking of something like that too. So there's a market, even if it's just the two of us. :D
i'd like something like that. pretty old school badass-ness right there.
