Guys,

When you purchased your Gladiator, did it come with the same small tool kit that the JL guys get to remove the top, doors, and fold down the windshield? I didn't get one and before I pester the dealer, I want to make sure that I should have.

Thanks!

Yes, mine can with the toolkit and the owner's manual states it's supplied.

There was a Big plastic bag in the glove box all folded up. The tool kit was inside of it along with license plate screws...I was about to throw it away when I found it.

Yup, I've received an email back from Craig @ Koons Tysons, (great guy, btw) and he said it should be in there. I didn't look hard enough, apparently. :(

There is a big difference between should be there and is there. I’d tell him quit’yer’bitchin’ and have one ready just in case. When I got my JKU my rep made a huge thing about handing it to me, showing me where all the bolts were, where they go, taking the t-tips off and where the door harnesses are.

I thanked him for the show and tell and he told me more bad things happen with tops and doors than there should be and the owner demands they go through it for every wrangle and I suppose now gladiator they sell. Mangled door harnesses, dropped hard tops, people forgetting the big knobs and ripping t-tops off.

It was in my glovebox but who knows where it is when shipped. But yes you should for sure get a toolkit.

Mine showed up in the mail four months after I bought my truck, along with the wheel lock key. They just forgot to put the packet in. Wheel locks were long gone of course, and replaced already, and I bought a tool kit from Amazon. No biggie. I hooked it to the MOLLE rack on the driver's seat.
