How did it get bumped up?Also... my build started today! Woohoo! Not sure when it did but I just did a Jeep chat and they confirmed that the truck is in build. They wouldn’t give me the build code though. For those tracking, my build is GasparsRevenge and it was put in the system and VIN received on 4/22 (technically put in on 4/13 actually but no VIN). It’s a sting gray rubicon auto.
I can now confirm that there is 100% an option to get your build bumped up ahead because that is exactly what happened with mine. Once the build is complete they are even prioritizing mine for shipping so it doesn’t sit waiting for 2 weeks.
Side note, the build tracker still doesn’t show my truck as in build so it might be that quick at seeing it. No idea when today it went to build though as I checked around 8am then didn’t bother until 10pm.
You won’t see the build sheet until it finishes in trim. You will get an email immediately that your build sheet is viewable and it will be found in the tracker.Also... my build started today! Not sure I can say something (yet) as it would probably create problems for those I engaged. Plus I don't want to say too much yet considering the truck hasn't shipped and I haven't taken delivery after confirming everything is in order. I'd hate to spill the beans now and burn the bridges with my contacts before they even follow through with the prioritizing my shipping, or need them more upon delivery for some odd reason! How did it get bumped up?
Well, then, you should have kept it to yourself! Not sure I can say something (yet) as it would probably create problems for those I engaged.
Call your dealer - talk to sales manager. They can contact regional managers and pull some strings. Easy as that in my case. I ordered on 4/11/2020 and was in production with a "Push" on the delivery side and by 6/5/2020 I was built. I had a great dealer that knew I was impatient and they made some calls. "Squeaky Wheel Gets the Grease" I guess actually works. I have no knowledge on if my particular Build advanced my place in line or not.How did it get bumped up?
Maybe large volume dealer has more pull.Call your dealer - talk to sales manager. They can contact regional managers and pull some strings. Easy as that in my case. I just spoke with Steven in Jeep chat regarding my Sport Manual. All parts have arrived and my vehicle is scheduled waiting assembly line work. I followed up and asked about the production of manuals. He is the first person that has not referred me back to the dealer. His response was, "Looks like all the manual transmissions should start progressing as normal over the next couple of weeks". So, a little bit of hope. Still sucks that I've been waiting since February. I'm so jealous of seeing everyone driving around with the doors and tops off their Jeeps.Also... my build started today! Woohoo! Yeah, no one in Jeep Chat or JeepCares seems to be able to give any real information, so I hope he wasn't just guessing.I just spoke with Steven in Jeep chat regarding my Sport Manual. Mine was delivered to DC area in 4 days post KZ.Can others provide a little more accurate information regarding the shipping/transit times (I know they'll vary depending on dealer locations)?
Mostly curious how long it took, or should take approx., to go from JS or KZ to actually delivered at the dealer. I'm impatient...and neither my dealer, nor Jeep Chat, are being super helpful other than a very vague ETA window...thanks for any help! HAHA
I tried that, my dealer was not interested in that path in the least. His response was then they'd have to do it for the other 40+ orders and many of them were before me.
