Can others provide a little more accurate information regarding the shipping/transit times (I know they'll vary depending on dealer locations)?

Mostly curious how long it took, or should take approx., to go from JS or KZ to actually delivered at the dealer. I'm impatient...and neither my dealer, nor Jeep Chat, are being super helpful other than a very vague ETA window...thanks for any help! HAHA
Mine took about 1.5 weeks from the time the window sticker was generated to the time the dealer reached out and said that it had arrived. Seemed like torture given that I live in Cincinnati and obviously the plant is in Toledo. Picked it up last week and absolutely LOVE it. Feel your pain for sure. The wait will be worth it. I echo the comments on this board...Jeep Chat is so non-commital it's almost funny.

Your dealer should be able to tell you approximate transit time.

I am in Florida, and my dealer says transit takes two weeks. This is reasonable, with what basic knowledge I have of rail transportation.

New vehicles are shipped on unit trains, that is, all the rail cars hold the same commodity, and have the same origin and destination, to save cost.

In my case, the train originates at Toledo and ends at Orlando. Then the vehicles are loaded onto highway transporters to go to the various dealers around the state.

So the two weeks includes sorting production output to load the Orlando-bound train, transit across rail lines, unloading, sorting to go on the transporters. The shortest leg is from Orlando rail yard to dealer's lot. But if the dealer's order doesn't fill a transporter, the the truck may have to make more than one stop before it gets to your dealer.

I just spoke with Steven in Jeep chat regarding my Sport Manual. All parts have arrived and my vehicle is scheduled waiting assembly line work. I followed up and asked about the production of manuals. He is the first person that has not referred me back to the dealer. His response was, "Looks like all the manual transmissions should start progressing as normal over the next couple of weeks". So, a little bit of hope. Still sucks that I've been waiting since February. I'm so jealous of seeing everyone driving around with the doors and tops off their Jeeps.
That is so disappointing to hear Manuals are delayed.

I'm in Tampa, and bought from the Lakeland CDJR down the road. I just asked him this exact question today, lets see what he says. Given DC area is taking about a week or a little longer I would expect 2 weeks to be correct for us. I might be a smidge sooner than you since Lakeland is next door to Orlando though.

@YAABUGGN and to anyone else with a manual on order... not to set you up for further disappointment here but there is a rather discouraging thread going on over on the JLwranglerforum. Apparently there ARE still ongoing issues with the manuals and there is NO date for fix yet:

https://www.jlwranglerforums.com/fo...ceptance-and-start-of-production.51143/page-9
Sooo good news and bad news.
I’ll start with the veggies, I’m actually pulling the plug on the Manual. It’s just not in the cards for me. I called my dealer and asked if they have some further information for me and they told me it’s still NOT even in production. I keep getting told by Jeep “I’m top priority” but it wasn’t feeling that way..

However, with that being said... If you could recall I had ordered two of these Jeeps back to back. 3/9 was the Manual order.... 3/6 was my Automatic order I was going to bail out on... welp, Automatic Gladiator will be at my dealership 6/15 . So I’ll be able to just take that one, the dealer is going to cancel the Manual order. I already have a Manual Audi TT with a big turbo, so maybe having an Automatic will be a nice change for the fiancé lol. (she can’t drive manual).
So I’m going to get my new VIN from the dealer today and then I’ll add it to the build sheet listing here, and see if I can shed some more information for ya’ll

I tried that, my dealer was not interested in that path in the least. His response was then they'd have to do it for the other 40+ orders and many of them were before me. I went WAY above that level...

I would think that perhaps being a high volume dealer has some part in it. Here locally we have a Ford dealer that goes back and forth yearly on being the highest volume dealer in the nation. I know for a fact they get preferential treatment on orders and such. That's Ford though, so again not sure that translates over to Jeep.
I guess you da' man then... Good luck everyone regardless of how you get it done.

I got the auto because the manual was still in limbo when I ordered. My first auto. It’s not as fun, but it’s still fun. My girlfriend can’t drive the manual either. She asked to learn the weekend before my JT arrived and quickly regretted that request.

I kept my manual TT when I got my manual JK. It was difficult going back and forth between them. Kept trying to stomp my TT’s clutch pedal through the floor. Ended up trading it on my ex wife’s Cherokee. Still kicking myself over that. Although I made her refund the trade value to me in the divorce :like:

Nope, just got lucky I think! Figured others were having luck pushing and I saw all these May orders getting done so I said fuck it l might as well try from the top.

@YAABUGGN thats great news man! Just to clarify... the dealer never cancelled your auto order after you added the manual?? Did they forget or figured they’d just sell yours when it arrived?

@DreamedofaJeepSomeday my dealer said they get them at the dealer as short as 1 week or as long as 2 week. Let hope we are on the short end.

1.5 weeks for being that close would definitely be difficult! I know the wait will be worth it, but it's pretty tough with several boxes sitting around and beautiful weather coming soon...hopefully it's only another couple days!

Dealer is being ALMOST as bad as Jeep Chat for giving a better answer of delivery, other than "in transit"...even when I ask whether it's still on a train or if it's moved to a car hauler yet. I was expecting approx. a week, which is coming up in a couple days, so we'll see how it shakes out. Thanks for your comment about the transit time to FL!

OK, I just got an email from Customer Care, and it is not what I was hoping for, but at least it is more complete info than I had previously.

My build is scheduled for the week of July 6. It is a manual transmission Overland. This seems to coordinate with the info Steven at Jeep Chat told 20GobiGladi : "Looks like all the manual transmissions should start progressing as normal over the next couple of weeks". Especially if you allow that "couple of weeks" is a loose description.

I see now looks like you ordered in March. I didn't order until 5/12... So not sure I'll see mine until September... Ugh
Yes, I ordered (from dealer) March 15, but Jeep only recorded order on March 30.

I would not be quite so pessimistic. If your order is MT. then it appears they build a group of them at the same time. So perhaps your late order gets in with my early order?

If your order is AT, it appears they build those sooner.

Mine is MT... wouldn't want it any other way. That would be great if the lump it in with the next batch.
