Got her back yesterday! Custom sound system is just .... WOW!!!

What came out:

• Alpine iLX-407
• ALL of the oem speakers and crap associated with it

What went in:

• Stinger Heigh 10
• Morel Hybrid 62 speakers
• Morel Tempo Ultra Integra speakers
• JL Audio 10TW3-D4 10-inch Subwoofer
• JL Audio VX600/6i Amplifier (badass tuner!!!)
• JL Audio JD500/1 Mono Subwoofer Amplifier
• Hushmat and other things I won't bore you all with (wires, fuses, etc)

The sound is amazing! Can definitely hear music when going 75+ with the windows down. I couldn't hear the wind or tires at all.

When the sound pros are impressed when they turn the system on the first time, you know you've got the right combo on components. When they crank the volume up to start tuning and the first word they all say is "DAMN!" ...... Let's just say my Jeep is going to be on their site very soon to showcase the build.

If anyone is second guessing on the Heigh 10, just GET IT!!! The media ports WORK with this unit, as does the rear and front cameras, and steering wheel controls!!! With the Alpine I had before, I lost those. Amps and fuses are installed behind the rear seat. Sub is under the rear seat on the passenger side.

Had them (Soundworks in Millersville, MD) put a front camera in as well and my DeWalt 1000w inverter as well. Inverter is under the rear seat on the driver side, mounted flush with the underseat storage. It looks clean, like the factory installed it!

I haven't paid attention to that, since I just got it back yesterday. I'll drive it down the road in a few hours and test it out when it's dark.

$11k. Worth every penny (more like worth a maxed out credit card).

These guys don't just slap the components in and send you on your way. The wires are wrapped and secured so they don't shift around. I go back to them in a couple weeks for some more fine tuning, once the speakers and sub start breaking in. Then back again a few weeks after that for final tuning, if needed.

The head unit has a built in mic, but they also put one in the instrument cluster and another in the sound bar.

I use Android Auto, so it automatically adjusts day/night mode. I know the unit has an optional add-on for iGo Navigation, but I haven't researched that enough to know if it's worth paying for.

That's good. My eyes are sensitive to light at night. My stock 7" unit is perfect for night driving but I've been in some older vehicles that seemed to have no forethought into white, bright, non adjustable screens for night driving.

This looks like a nice unit.
