Grill Conversion, but Not Angry

Well you asked what we think. I don't like it. If I saw that coming at me on the road I would immediately think someone attempted to retro a new Jeep. I would much prefer paint and stickers over taking off the iconic grill and replacing it with that.

I like it. It would still be iconic and separate the vehicle somewhat from the wrangler. Should have done it from the factory.

I like it more than the Grumpy Grill, but it still feels pretty fake compared to the original Kaiser or J10. It might help if the example wasn't painted white, it looks like unfinished motorcycle race fairings that just ship with a plain gel-coat.

Put side by side with the OG, one feels very "Instagram" and the other feels genuine.

The Jeep Gladiator had that grille from 1962-69.
The wide (Wagoneer-style) grille was adopted in 1970, and the Gladiator named dropped entirely after 1971.
I think the conversion kit is kinda neat, but not $3500-5200 worth of neat!

It's your JEEP do what you like.

As Gladiator grills were altered from JLs to aid in cooling.

I wonder what effect this grill would have under working conditions, towing, and off road.
