Grill size difference to JL

In one of these videos posted, I must have misheard the guy say that the gladiator was 20” wider than the wrangler. Perhaps, he meant longer. I’ll shut up and go sit in the corner now. Now, where’s my dunce cap? Lol.

Don't you gladiator bro? the metal grills are exactly the same, however, the holes in the plastic mesh in the are bigger.

No worries. I can handle it. There’s still a lot of information to process, all the videos and what not. The only way all will become obvious is when I have a gladiator sitting next to my wife’s Wrangler.

As an aside: does anyone else feel the holes in the grill are great bug catchers?

Maybe I'm ignorant, but I thought it was both that the 7 slots were wider AND the mesh behind them was wider too. Is that not the case and it's just the mesh that's wider?

One of the youtube videos shows a guy holding up his phone to the grill of a Gladiator and again to a Wrangler. The slots are a bit wider / thinner ( you know what I mean) .. and the mesh behind is different. Cooling seems to be the main bugger of towing #s. So I wonder what the aftermarket will have to help keep the beast cool when towing..
