Grrrr cheap ass fuel filter assembly.

On my last ‘wave’ oil change (15k ago) I had them do the fuel filter while they had the jeep, it’s been about a year (7k miles since the last oil change (6mos ago I drained it) so i figured I would switch out the filter today.

Well the cap was so tight I ended up breaking the plastic nut off filter cap….

Called all the dealers nobody had one, and they wanted 480 dollars…. AutoNation is such a joke…

Just ordered the entire assembly online for 80 bucks.

Hope it gets here soon.

They either cross threaded it when putting it in, or used an impact….

Made me really want a 392…..

Bummer.

Last year I ordered 2 fuel filters and they shipped me the whole assembly. I used one filter out of one assembly. So if anyone needs an assembly. PM me.

392 gladiator was revealed at the Detroit auto show. Didn't you see it ? Pretty sure I used a torque wrench when I put my cap back on.
