Probably too long
My H7 sized Optima is 12.44" long and it just about filled the whole length of the battery well.
An H8 is almost an 1.5" longer.

The 94R (H7) is the larger optional battery. The tray is not designed for anything bigger. It may fit, but measure very carefully before ordering.
