Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!

Interesting that seems to be based on the leaked CAD and not the earlier forum renders. Santa bring us a little leak for Christmas? ;)

Merry Christmas!

Let’s hope that the JT production model looks just like your awesome rendering!

Well here is a can of worms to open. Let just say for the sake of discussion that Jay gave us the first look at an actual (not rendered) JT. I hope so because that think looks awesome!!! Anyway going on that assumption, here comes the worms, what is the deal with the vent in the bed? Yes we know the JL vent is functional and helps with hood flutter and possible some heat distribution. Why vent the box? Is it functional? Aerodynamics? Maybe its not a vent, but pretty high to be a side step? Can’t be the gas fill, can it, if so why no door?

OK guesses, assumptions, and theories go.

That's the fuel filler, not a vent. If you think about where the gas filler is on the JL, on the JT it would be in front of the rear wheels.

My question is, I wonder where they plan on putting the DEF filler for the EcoDiesel. There has to be a separate filler for that.

Could be side by side with the regular filler. Might explain the elongated filler hole.

This. Pretty sure this is how the Ram Ecodiesel and the GC Ecodiesel are set up.

I have been staring at this rendering since it first popped up here. 2019 needs to hurry up and get here already! I agree with the above stated elongated shape of the filler hole to fit both gas and diesel setups.

Good point... That makes sense for the JT (the elongated shape).
But wonder how they going to pull that off (DEF filler) on the JLU....there is only space for one filler. That will be a tight squeeze to get both Diesel & DEF in that one hole.
(I know the EcoDiesel isn't coming to the 2 door Wrangler, only using the image for filler size example.)

I don't think that fuel filler location will work, at least as rendered. It looks like the fuel filler nozzle will hit the flare. I think it will likely be behind the rear wheel. There is plenty of sheet metal in that area.

This JL based render looks great! I'd love to see a 2 door render based off the JL.

Any possibility this awesome render which turned out to be pretty spot on with what was released, might be updated to be a Gladiator? I need this on my desktop!!! :)
