has anyone replaced the 4" kick panel speakers without dropping the pods out? is it any easier? I've seen a few videos online....curious if there's a 'hack' here that would enable less of the dash to be taken apart. these things rattle enough...

reporting back for the good of the group. You can totally replace the kick panel speakers easily in 2024+ gladiators. I did not have to remove the dash. Passenger side pod drops to floor, and drivers side panel can be removed without any of the upper dash taken off. Took me 1.5 hrs to change both. Used jl audio c2-400, very pleased, no ohm load issues.
