My wife’s 2023 was just finished.
4” Teraflex & Yeti top to bottom lift components
38” Nittos
18” Fuel Coverts
No one has approved the speedo/gearing module for 2023’s & it’s sucking gas like a ‘75 Cadillac
Anyone know any different?

May have to bite the bullet, & have the dealer flash it for the new tire size.

What do you mean by no one has approved the speedo module? Do you mean, you need to get them calibrated and no one will help?

None of these companies, so far, have approved their modules for a 2023.

They can not confirm they will work on 2023 yet? The lift company is calling all across the nation, but no one has verified it yet…..sucks

I am pretty sure in AlphaOBD when it detects a VIN/PCM that is out of range, it gives you a warning, but lets you bypass and continue. I had to do this with my 2022 while waiting on the software updates to recalibrate my tires/speedo.

I have a 23 and a tazer, I don't have larger tires but I can confirm that I can change the size in the system

It will change shift points but changing gears is what you need. Even then your mpg numbers with 38’s will never be all that good anymore.

Does adjusting for tire size give you better MPG's? I thought it was just to make speedo acurate. The 38's and lift is what causes low mpg. Am I wrong?
It’s just gonna make the reading more accurate it’s not gonna change the amount of fuel you actually use.

That's what I thought. The way op worded it, seemed like he was expecting better mpg once recalibrated. Could be that I am a bit short on IQ and read it wrong as well. LOL

38" tires on a jeep.... prob 11-14 mpg on good pavement at normal speeds without wind?

Diesel is a little better. I get 20-22mpg normally, (on 35" with 3" lift)
