2020 gladiator Rubicon on 35's I installed Fabtech 3 inch sport 2 lift with dirt logic shocks. All went well except front driver spring bows forward and almost touches sway bar link. It does touch when flexs.
I have taken it apart 2 and it is seated properly and passenger side is perfect. I have installed several lifts and never had this issue.

Ooh that's bad. I had to fight some Skyjacker springs to keep them from touching the bumpstop tube and playing a tune when compressed.

Before:

I handled it, (not to complete satisfaction) by replacing the base coil pads with Daystar correction pads and cut the bevel out of the upper passenger isolator pad and wedged it into the driver's side pad after clocking it to get the best angle.

After:

Currently in the market for new front springs.

Wow, they are new springs came with the kit. Makes wonder if wrong spring didn't get boxed in the kit

Should have a part number on them and confirm that top and bottom pads are properly indexed

No help from Fabtech, 1st they said buy the correction kit. I said it's bowing forward sent them pics. Then they said caster needs adjustment. I said how with no adjustment location and it being solid axle wouldn't both springs bow forward not just 1.......crickets Fabtech has the worst customer service

Of all the folks I've dealt with, Extreme Terrain, a third party supplier, and Teraflex, have been absolutely stellar in their responsiveness.

If you're up for it, try cutting the nubs off the upper isolator and rotating it to see if it will straighten the spring out.
On my diesel the factory upper isolators are beveled but they're also indexed with the two nubs.

I bought it from extremeterrain.com I'm really surprised the manufacturer won't help.

looks like you are using stock LCA's? Stock will be to short and roll the axle forward. Which can cause bow like fabtech said. The passenger side may not roll forward as bad because the pan hard bar may be keeping it from rotating as bad since that is the side it's connected to. Does it look like the panhard bar is twisted in it's bracket at the axle?

Have you checked your caster angle?

It's does look alittle twisted I did check it on the c and it's 5 degree forward. I did order Rancho geometry brackets for the control arms. Will that work or am I going to have to order control arms? Just wish they would of said this I would order everything I needed at once

I bet if you disconnect the panhard bar the passenger side will also bow.

Fabtech info seems loose and poorly baked, they sell a kit with just springs and market it as a 3" lift. If you use the mopar lift kit as a base line, their 2" lift comes with longer LCA's to correct geometry.

So explain to me why a 2" lift by jeep engineers needs LCA's and a 3" lift by a aftermarket vendor doesn't...... something doesn't add up and i wouldn't buy from that aftermarket vendor.

No idea if you feel for misinformation when you bought your setup or bought parts and pieces, but good luck . I try to buy from vendors that have have well thought out stuff, usually the more parts the better, this means they understand you can't change 1 thing and not effect another thing. The hope is they have already figured out the geometry for you and either you bolt it up and rock or they tell you in the instruction what lengths things need to be.

When you do that you will either get fixed length LCA's to account for the taller springs or instruction that give you a base length to adjust the LCA's to.

I have no idea if drop brackets will fix your issue, my guess they won't, they don't change the radius of the swing they just move the pivot point down. Longer lower arms change the radius and push the bottom of the axle forward thus rotating the axle.

Thanks for the info, I always heard good things about Fabtech. I always ran rough country and never had a issue. They have great customer service. Just can't believe they have so little support for their product.

at this point i would call fabtech ask if you can buy their short arm kit, minus the springs and shocks.

or buy a clayton kit , metal cloak kit or rock krawler kit and either get their springs or take your chances with your springs.

Interestingly a mid level clayton or metal cloak kit sells front adjustable upper arms (maybe shorter?) to rotate the axle back, while a mid level rock krawler kit sells a longer lower control arm to to rotate the axle bottom forward.

I guess either way you slice it all the kits are doing something to correct for rotation.

I got a synergy adjustable track bar. I guess if the drop bracket doesn't work. It give me a excuse to buy all the arms front and rear.
