Any help appreciated..
I recently installed a 4 light Oracle lighting color shift underbody rock lighting and I'm having issues with them randomly turning on when I start the vehicle. Most of the time this happens when I use remote start. The issue is that once the come on they will not turn off with the remote unless I turn my jeep off and restart it. For power I tapped off a fuse in the fuse block next to the battery that uses accessory power.
The control box is also located in the engine compartment next to the battery. When I start the vehicle and the lights come on by themselves I'm not able to control any aspect of them. When the lights don't come on automatically then they work just fine with the remote. I have yet to try the bluetooth option.
I'm stumped!
@ORACLElights please help.

Hey there, we just asked our product specialist for assistance here! Here's his response: "All rock light kits require constant 12v input. This is best taken direct from the battery. The reason the controller is turning on with the key is due to being connected to an ACC fuse." If you'd like to troubleshoot further, please give our team a call at 1-800-407-5776!

Ok.. I'll switch it to a constant power, but to I have to be concerned with battery drain if it is hooked up directly to the battery? I assume it has power going to the unit even when the vehicle is off.

Run the power wire through a switch, then you have to manually activate the switch for the lights to turn on.

This would do the same thing as running it on accessory power. The control unit would power down until you hit the switch. Then the lights would power up with the switch and not be controllable via remote and give me the same issue I have going on right now.

If you put it to a kill switch it will have power only when on, then you would use the remote to control it once powered on. Then to turn it off hit switch to lose power to the box.

How is this any different than hooking it to acc power? Essentially acc power is killing the power to the box when the car is turned off the same way a switch would kill power to the box when turned off.
Does anyone at @ORACLElights know how their system works ? Honestly I'm not too impressed.. extension cables that don't actually scew together like intended, poor instructions and now poor tech support!
How about instructions showing how you expect the system to be wired to work properly instead of instruction that just say connect to a 12v power source.

The difference is the ability to shut them off. You gain that ability with a switch and that sounds like it solves your problem. If the call for constant power use constant power. It took longer to complain/question Oracle than it would to try their solution.
