Some have said these Jeep plywood boxes are extremely valuable. I’ve even heard it referred to as “the holy grail”.

I was given two by my dealership. The first one was a couple months ago and then they called me yesterday to come in for another. The first one was empty but the second one I picked up this morning was full of new suspension parts off a JL that had a lift put in.

The shop Forman asked if it would be ok if I took the box with these parts? I’m thinking why do I want greasy old parts from a JL?? He said “oh no, these are brand new, coils front and back, lower front control arms and front and rear sway bar links and a full set of JL rubicon shocks.” He said, we can take them out of the box if you’d like. I sat there for two seconds and said, no, I’ll take them and a couple techs came out and tossed the box in the back of the truck.

Looks like the front suspension parts will slide right over and fit the JT but the rear parts won’t and also the shocks can go to a lucky JL Sport that wants to upgrade to the Rubicon shocks. This was a big score.

It was all so fast, what the heck just happened ?

I’m guessing the parts would be around $1200 cad. I might be wrong… and then what does a box go for?

I was given a few from my dealer also. And they would've given me more if I went back for more. Apparently they were clogging up their shop and had a hard time getting rid of them. Now I just use them to store old parts.

We have five Gladiator tour Jeeps we put the Mopar 2” kits on. I gave all the boxes away, we had a lot of interest in them.

I read your post in the JL forum.... do what everyone there suggests... enjoy the box and find another home for the parts... as they won't do your JT any how. ?
