How’s it going everyone. I’m in the process of installing rubi suspension on my sport. I’m also swapping my lca’s for the MOPAR 2” lift kit ones. The problem is my axle has rolled/ shifted forward a little. I removed both the lca’s and it happened. Don’t think I should of done that. Now I can’t get the axle back where it needs to be.
I have both tires off, Jeep on jack stands, and the axle is pretty much on the floor.
Hoping someone can point me in the right direction. Thanks

If this was on a rack I would say us a come a long to pull the axle but on jack stands I'm not sure if that would work.

I tried a ratchet strap, it didn’t move much. Could I jack the drive shaft up? I feel like that would pull my axle back.

I would not apply a jack to the drive shaft.

I need to rotate the axle back and it seem lifting the driveshaft will rotate it back. When I jack the pumpkin up, it doesn’t rotate back, just up. I’m at a loss.

It's tricky for sure. The problem with jacking on the drive shaft is it is not designed to support weight like that. Your could mess up the drive shaft, u joint, Pinion etc..

If this was me I would disconnect everything. Get entire front assembly/axle on two floor jacks. Then move into position. The way it is now its bound up. Way to heavy to just move and twist. I know that sounds like a pain and it is but you got yourself in a real pickle.

Put the bottle Jack on the pinion flange. Rotate it. It’s a Jeep they get beat on rocks. The flange can take it. Or put it on the Lower CA bracket and let err eat...

I just finished up. The rears were much easier.
On the front axle, I put a tire back on and was able to move the axle back to where I needed it.
I gained nearly 2” with this rubi eco swap. Thanks for y’all’s input.
