Obviously I just found them the other day. But hell how many people actually drive with their hands at 3&9 on the wheel? Got my Glady 3/30 took me this long.
Haha I owned a Renegade before my Gladiator and they had the same buttons. One is for the volume, the right one I believe, and the left one is for flipping through radio or SXM stations, like a scan feature on a regular radio.
Having previously owned a Dodge......I found them right away.
I think it wasn't until I spent some time with the owners manual that I found them on the old dodge.
The worse part is always feeling for them in the non-Jeeps that we own.
Took me about a week - I’ve never had that feature on a previous vehicle either. To the folks whose dealers showed them all this stuff, well done. Mine didn’t even know how to install the mopar slush mats that they *require* as a part of their Rocky Mtn package .
Took me a while. We bought a JLU for the kids and whenever I drove it I always said to myself... I wish there were buttons on the steering wheel for the radio. After I'd driven it a dozen times or so I mentioned it to my daughter and she pointed out the buttons to me.
Had them on the GMC pick up that the JT replaced, so found them right away. The functionality is backwards, though. Why put the volume control on the wheel in that location when it is only a few inches from the volume knob? It's personal preference, I guess, but having volume on the door side of the steering wheel would be better than the current configuration.
