How come you don't have state tax? I believe no matter where you buy, you have to pay the state tax where you register the vehicle unless of course you register and live in a tax free state like FL/TX - that's why JP1's price is so low...

OR has no sales tax. They did start a 0.5% Vehicle Privilege Fee in 2018 on new vehicles.

Ohh I didn't know that OR doesn't have state tax on vehicles... but they have state income tax right? It's interesting that some states might have state income tax but no sales tax on new vehicles.
