My Mojave came with MT tires. I would have preferred AT but it was how she came.

With the winters in Northern Indiana, I'm not excited about having the MT tires.

I'm looking at snow rated tires and really like the general grabbers and a few others.

But the truck came with "C" load rated tires and the brands I am looking at only come in "E" rating for the tire size I need.

My research shows a lot more load carrying capacity and I'd imagine a much thicker sidewall.

Id like to understand what this would mean? Would my ride go to shit?

Would it hurt me when I need to air down for sand etc?

Any experienced advice would be appreciated.

A 10 ply e rated tire on a relatively light vehicle like a gladiator is going to ride rough, no doubt. You can air them down to 30 or less and soften it up some but still. My super duty loaded with a bed full road nice on E rated tires, with out a load not nearly as soft. In a gladiator even rougher.
