Relocate? IMO, you do not need to replace the sway bar links for anything under or at 2 inches of lift. As far as track bar relocate I always considered 2 inches and up it will be needed to keep the axle centeredwhen is a rear sway bar relocation neccessary?
Thanks
It’s more dependent on shock length than actual lift. If your shocks are longer than stock (or have spacers), I would recommend longer links. The stock link mounts are weak and the link can rip off. Icon makes a relocation bracket, and several companies have longer links. 12.25” long links (MC) work well with 28” long shocks.when is a rear sway bar relocation neccessary?
Thanks
i was looking at the aev lift and it says it includes “sway bar links and relocation brackets”It’s more dependent on shock length than actual lift. That’s the 2.5. It has front control arm relocation brackets to correct geometry.

so, there are relocation brackets for the rear sway bar. Im trying to understand the “why” of including both new sway links as well as sway brackets for the rear. My only guess is that they need to correct sway alignment because they dont recenter the axle and they lift a bit more than 2.5”. But thats pure speculation on my part.
good find. Thanks. Looks like its length and geometry correction for the sway bar link. Hmmm.Sorry, I’m kind of distracted. Here’s the instructions...
