Hey guys, I have a 2021 jeep wrangler 4xe rubicon. It has been a nightmare of a vehicle for me... I actually mean terrible nightmare.. been towed 5 times now in total. Been told it needs a new battery pack (hybird battery) which will take 5-6months to arrive and another month to install could be longer because they will have to bring in a hybird tech specialist to work on it... anyways they finally offered me a good trade in for my vehicle (no lemon laws in canada) I was just wondering how reliable has the gladiator been for you guys, also please tell me how many kms or mileage you have put on the gladiator. I do alot of overlanding and I quite honestly love the the wranglers/gladiators interior. At this I just want a vehicle that won't give me headaches and will start everyday (my 4xe won't start in the cold -10, saying service hybird system, service charging system) I've yest drove 2 gladiators, 1 Mojave, and one rubicon, and I'm leaning on the rubi for both locking diffs. Also will 37s fit the stock rubi? And will 5th tire fit under the bed? (They are ko2s). Anyways I've test driven 4runners off road, not a trd (can't find one) chevy colarado zr2, Nissan frontier profx4. Ranger, bronco etc. And I do have say I overall just like the jeeps much more. So please input on your reliability with your gladiators
Also I'll attach the gladiator I'm looking to buy !
Also tried that 4runner (didn't like it since it was the 2019, without any safety features nor apple car play 🤔
I'll also attach my love (my 4xe) I honestly love the jeep, it was great I'm the summer running on eletric mode but like I have stressed not reliable at all, I was stuck in -25 weather waiting for the tow truck to come and it took the tow q hour to get to me in that freezing weather

8k on the odometer and other than a leaky rear shock, which is pricey on a Mojave, I’ve had zero issues.

2020 Sport S w/ 6 speed manual tranny. 17777 on odometer. Only issues have been the aluminum steering gear (replaced twice under warranty) and the MT recall for clutch overheat, which I never experienced. I love my Gladiator and would definitely buy again.

Over 54000 miles on my 20 Sport S Max-Tow just went over 2 years on 29 Jan. In shop one time for Steering gear box replacement and cracked windshield (due road damage).

2020 Gladiator with 24,000 miles. Only issues were steering gear (replaced twice under warranty/TSB) and they did the ABS module flash to make the brake controller work properly with the system. I had the tonneau cover replaced in the first couple of months because it was loose but that was an early problem and more of a supplier issue, not Jeep per se (an accessory)
The truck runs and drives nice and is reliable. No squeaks, no leaks, no rattles, no shakes or vibrations (unless I really crank the radio with the roof off, then there's a vibration as I can feel the base guitar in the steering column)

Sorry about your 4xe. Just like any vehicle, it's the luck of the draw. 24K miles so far for me and nothing (knock of wood). Granted I have consistent SoCal weather, but my JT has been everywhere. Love this Jeep; favorite vehicle I've ever had (this is my first Jeep - and truck for that matter).

Happens, had my fair share of arguments with fca customer service, it's been pretty bad customer service till now with the 4xe. Had a 2018 jl , 3.6 no issue for the 3 years I had it

I'm at 15k and had a sun visor break off (repaired under warranty) and a transmission that occasionally only guesses what gear it should be in. But it's only occasionally, so I live with it.
(dealer said drive it 'til it breaks, then we'll fix it)
I'd still get another one.

21 willies diesel. Never left me stranded. Just shy of 20k and it’s had some issues with Ess not ready. And it’s currently on week 2 in the shop for an abs wiring harness. In the grand scheme of things this is the most expensive vehicle I have ever bought fallowed by having the most warranty work done of any vehicle I’ve ever owned. Been buying new every 1 to 3 years for 20 years. However for the most part the issues I’ve had have been more of an annoyance than a reliability issue.
For what it’s worth I’d buy another one tomorrow. It’s my daily driver. Not impressed with long lead times on parts but that is the excuse everyone is using these days.
Also worth noting I have a 4xe as well and I like that too but it don’t get near the fuel economy they claim. Sense winter hit we struggle to get 23mpg and plug it in every night.
