So, I have aftermarket LED fog bulbs. L O V E them. Freakin' love them. They make such an enormous difference.
I'm about to install an aftermarket steel bumper, and it has provisions to reuse my stock fog housings. BUT...it does not have the filler panels that keep water, mud, snow, salt, and grime off of the fog light housings the way that the factory bumper does. This is a problem because my LED bulbs have built-in cooling fans on the body of the bulb itself.
I've been trying to think of some way I could modify the bumper or design an add-on for the bulb to allow it to still cool itself, while keeping mud and debris out of the fan. So far I'm blank. I thought I'd run it by you guys, because there are some resourceful guys on here. Any ideas?? Help a brother out.
