I like the stock rims as well - it does look off to me, though i thought it was the narrow profile of the stock Bridgestone Duelers. Makes the whole truck look "taller and thinner".it's the 18" wheels.
Everytime I look at my JT or someone else who puts new tires on the stock Overland rims, they always look off. Someone puts 16"/17" rims and tires, the rim to tire ratio just looks better. Go up to 20" wheels, different ratio and that still looks better than 18" wheels.
What's sad is I love the style of the Overland rims, it's just an odd size for mid-size truck.
So Overland owners... do you see it too?
It has the Mopar 2" lift kit on it.This! is a really nice rig. Did you level/lift to get the tyres on (is it in this thread that I missed?)? What did you use?
Great tires. I have the 285/75/17 and they fit perfectly, stick past the fenders no more than an inchHow are you liking those AT3s?
About to pull the trigger on the Mopar lift. How much offset did you get in the front with the Mopar lift or did you install an adjustable track bar?It has the Mopar 2" lift kit on it.
Yeah I put the Terraflex track bar on. Mechanic who aligned my front end said it moved about 1/4 inch at most. Knowing that I probably wouldn't buy one again. I think the stock would be fine. But if you get one at least it's there if you ever want to go bigger.About to pull the trigger on the Mopar lift. Trackbar will firm up your handling as well. The stock bar is underwhelming. Well worth it in my opinion. Lots of great choices out there and it’s relatively cheap as far as our hobby goes.About to pull the trigger on the Mopar lift. I like that set up .Is that an ARE cap?Very happy. Great quality and perfect fit. Would not have gotten without this though.....
Crawling in after stuff and reaching in through a side window is not for me.
