I hate the exterior mirrors on my JT. They are barely larger than a two packs of cigarettes. Yes I have them kicked out where you barely see the truck itself.

One of the major gripes after owning my 21 Gladiator after a few months. I don't need or want tow mirrors, but damn there is a blind spot on the passenger side that I hate. If you have anything in the backseat like a dog kennel, you can't see crap.

Even the wife hates it and complains about it. Coming from a Tundra, it's a learning curve for sure. It's probably just me but I finally had to vent.

On another note, I am paying it off this week. I am allergic to car payments.
My 2020 JT Rubi has an ARE Shell so there is no need or purpose in looking at the interior rear view mirror. The vehicle came with blind spot mirror alterts and coupled with a small fish eye mirror attached to each outside mirror I have no problem with seeing what's next to me.

you would need the plastic shell it clips into as well

Since I already have the LED tails. Do you know if the taillights themselves are different? Or if it's just a matter of adding parts to the ones I have?

Did you move the mirror
After a mountain bike crash that gave me a stiff neck, I started using my backup cam. I edited the home screen to put the camera access as the 2nd button on the bottom of the screen. Not perfect, but helped when I had a stiff neck and have gotten into the habit of using this process if I'm ever in doubt of traffic around me.
Tazer also has a live feature that by pressing the mute button twice, turns on the backup camera.

My mirrors are pointed fairly outwards and don't have any real issues. I've also never checked blind spot turning around though, I just lean forward. Leaning forward I can see every lane I need. Safer that way too

Someone need to makes some mirror base spacers, like an inch would be great. I might just make some out of 1" thick aluminum.
post it if you do. I’d be interested in some spacers.

@Suma Performance might be what you are thinking about.

https://www.sumaperformance.com/collections/jeep/products/wrangler-gladiator?variant=43144904409324

I ordered some on August 18 they’re supposed to be here early November…. tomorrow’s the 15th. Anyway I’m actually really excited about them they look really nice I went ahead and got the blue with Blindspot, heat, and signal. See how it goes when they show up.
I'm going on a few months with my Suma performance mirrors and a couple years of running them on my Tacoma. I have to admit the Tacoma fit Suma mirrors are definitely wider angle but that's because it's an overall wider mirror in general. But, the jeep ones they are making are still wider angled than stock and has saved my butt a few times. I also like the blue tinted version since it mellows out the night time glare. And lastly I'm running their version with the built in turn signal which helps the people in my blind spot notice my merging. I agree with OP though that all jeep mirrors in the stock form suck.

Was it hard hooking up the turn signal? I just replaced my side vents with sequential turn signals and purposely left some wire available to connect to this.

I dont know but it looks like the module + the bracket bolt into the oem led rear.
A boulder on a recent offroad excursion to Rausch made me replace my passenger LED taillight. I purchased a new tail without the BSM and it was a matter of moving both the bracket and BSM module over to the new one. Took me about 20 mins to move it over.

So I used one of these harnesses on each side so that I would not have to tap into my wiring at all for the signal into my factory wiring.

If you look at the description of the wires though on the harness it says drl and side marker light connection only but there's another wire in that same harness that's a signal wire and that's where I tapped into using my own wire and connector. It's just a cleaner look of you know what you're doing.
But, in your case you already left wire so you can use that. I have my mirror signal and my d&c designs cowl signal wire both coming off those harnesses I adapted plus my drl for my Oracle lights are powered from that harness. If I ever wanted to wire in some raptor style LEDs in the future on the grille I could tap into the side marker light wire.
As far as running the wires up to each door to the mirrors that's not too bad. Just have to run wires through the same loom as the stock wires leading up to the door and then running then up to each mirror. It's just time consuming but not hard. I have a couple YouTube videos of the mirrors and signals in action that I posted on a thread I made on the suma mirrors a few months back. Look at post number 8 to see the videos I made

Oh and by the way there is a discount code if you guys ever want to tap that onto your orders. That's code GLADIATOR

Can you still quick-disconnect your door wiring for door removal?

Of all the complaints about this truck I’ve read on this site, this is one of the few I can honestly agree with.
