I have oracle oculus headlights and flush mount taillights. Installed on my factory halogen gladiator, had no warning lights or hyperflash, no tazer. I really didn't understand all the hate they got. I do now.

Installed taillights March 5th, first picture.
Here we are June 26th, and I've got some LEDs that have gone bad. I don't know how long they have been out, I don't really look usually. But either way, 3 months and 3 weeks is unacceptable.

Is Oracle going to replace them?
I know they look at these posts and comment on them constantly. So I'm waiting to hear from them here before I bother sending anything through their website. I think this will be a faster response.

There are lots of vehicles running around with failed LED segments. This is a good argument for using cheap-ish standardized modular components which are easily replaceable, such as what commercial trucks use. Or, of course, simple halogen bulbs.

So a public forum where you place a complaining post is a better place than just emailing their support email ? This will be faster ?

I'd hazard a guess that if you follow their normal warranty process that it will be faster and will get better results than posting a (sort of whiny) post casting doubt about their products before you even see how they might handle the claim ?

Stuff happens. The measure of a company is how they recover.

Maybe give them a chance before posting ? What's the point ?

Well if you read some of the posts on here about how they just don't hear back when emailing them through their website then maybe you would understand. I guarantee I'll hear back from them through here at some point today.

Yeah, I do understand. You didn't give them a chance based on other forum complaints about something that you yourself have not yet experienced.

Instead you took the time to snap pictures and post to a public forum to make them look terrible in an effort to get a quick response. Your did all of this before even attempting to follow their established process. All of which took some time of it's own.

And you will likely get a response this way as well. So more power to you. It's just not the way that I would do it.

Maybe they do have a reputation for poor service and have earned your response. But If they do suck so much that you are aware of their poor customer service, why buy their stuff in the first place ?

For the record-- Oracle is a forum member, posts constantly, and make cool products for our trucks. I'm running their taillights with no issues. I have nothing but good things to say about them, and I'd recommend them to anyone.

Edit- just a reminder that not many will make a post to elaborate on a positive experience, as it's more or less expected. So for the few bad experiences, there are a lot of people happy with Oracle products.

I don't know the quality of their product since I haven't received my order yet but they make/sell cool products for sure.

However, I agree they need to improve their sales/service dept.

I made an order on May 27th but the item haven't shipped yet over 2weeks and no one contacted me in the meantime so I talked to a representative via their live chat and was told my order will be ready within 'next' 2weeks.

Well, after the 'next' 2weeks, I emailed them what's going on and was told my item was back-ordered with an ETA of mid to late July. That's another 2weeks to 4weeks.

Yet, you can still purchase the item because they didn't mention it's back-ordered.

I told them they should give this information on the product page and their answer/excuse is like below,

'We try to update our website to reflect our inventory levels accordingly but unfortunately the more popular items, like the headlights you purchased, sell out rather quickly.'

I ordered bunch of items from different places for my new Mojave and all of them certainly marked as back-ordered with ETA or sign of sold out for popular items.

I still like their products and will wait for my order but I'm not pleased my buying experience with them.
