No, I have not. I did a "test run" by wenching myself into the yard, anchored to a tree. It's slow, but easy. If you contact them, ask if they have any "seconds". Any second issue is cosmetic only and the wench carries the same warranty as 1st quality, but saves you a lot of money.

There's a little space. Not quite as good a fit with two sideways.

This is a Plano 1619 and 1719 behind the wheel wells. They won't fit between the wheel wells.

Here is my 40 dollar weather resistant bed storage option. Home depot has these boxes for 35 ish and the weather seal was 5 or 6 bucks on amazon. Sits nicely in the wheel well with my 5 gallon milspec gas gan and my traction boards. In the box I have:
- Mopar cover
- Bolt on mirrors
- shovel
- tow rope
- 2 shackles
- tent
-sleeping bag
- emergency food (prepackaged peanuts, granola bars, etc. probably actually going to put that in the cab)
- TP and paper towels
- duct tape
- 2 beach towels
- 5x7 tarp
- ratchet set
- ratchet straps
- tinder
-probably something else I forgot

Going to toss a bike lock cable on it for now

I would be real leery about storing any type of food inside the truck, especially nuts and granola and such. The last thing you want is to attract any type of rodent attention. Trust me on that.

Most animals, rodents included have a keen sense of smell. It’s how they make a living. Any food stored inside a contained area will eventually saturate that area with scent. It may be imperceptible to you or me but not to them.

It’s why narcotics dogs can smell contraband from outside a vehicle, through layers of sealed plastic and in the midst of cover scents. I was a K-9 handler in my former professional life. I’m still amazed at what they can do with their noses…

I just picked up two of the 1619 boxes. You’re right, they do fit perfectly between the wheel wells. Do you keep them in the bed all the time? If so, do you tie them down? Secure them some other way?

Looking at your last pic, now I’m wondering if two of the 1719s would fit side by side behind the wheel wells.
