Ideas needed - place to store trailer ball mounts, etc.

That's not a bad idea and putting a couple of inexpensive D-rings on one side could secure it from moving around, it would be quiet and padded. Worth looking into anyway. And it would be a good place for straps or whatever should I eventually get a winch. Gotta have a place for that stuff, too.

Do share with is when you get a hitch mounted winch and where you will keep it

Pictures show 1 bag with my Fastway Hitch + a bag with air compressor and cigarette lighter extension cord. Plenty of room for additional items. The second bag will have my recovery items in it.

Additional shots showing hard rubber bottom + hardware on the top for a carry strap. They look strong enough to use them as anchor points if you want/need.

They also come with the goofy little plastic case. Will probably use one for fuses etc.

Things I like - I will be able to throw them in the back of the truck if I need the full bed, they will free up space in the cab, material, zippers etc look to be decent quality and should hold up for day to day usage.

Dont like - Not American made! I don't think these will move on my bed mat but I was hoping for a little softer rubber bottom.
