I saw a lift kit that I guess also acts as a leveling kit because the front was .5 inches higher than the back.

But do I have to do that part that way? Or can I put the 2.5 on the back and 2 on the front making the raked look even more raked?

Not sure why you would want to do that and a 2.5 in the front and 2 in the rear will not take out all the rake either. Your still going to have about 3/4 inch of rake with that setup. I have a 2.5 inch SST readylift installed on mine and Rubicon front springs and I still have a 1/4 inch of rake on mine. Had 3/4 before I added the front springs.

The springs are very different front and back. You will not find a kit that does what you want. You will need to buy the springs and shocks separately from any kit. Like 2.5" rear springs and 1.5" front springs outside of any prepared kit. And from same manufacturer is ideal because inches of lift measured is not universal by any means.

Or you could buy a 1.5" kit and add a spacer to the rear only.

So why is a lift kit .5" more in the front than the back?

Because most people who want a lift don't like the rake. Keeping a lot of rake and lifting are typically very different people.

For the most part to take away some of the rake but leave you with a little in case you add a steel bumper and winch to the front. Also there's more weight in the front of a vehicle than the rear.

Just add a small spacer to the lift to make up whatever height you want in the front
