i have read in numerous articles that when Jeep gets started with production that they will only produce Sport & Rubicon models, no Sport S or Overlands. See attached article as one good example of this. I am leaning to a Sport model but may want to opt for a Sport S model. Does anyone have any idea why they would limit initial production to just 2 of the 4 models at the start? And why these 2 particular models?

That’s probably just a carry-over from the very old news of last year - that’s by far the most reasonable conclusion.

You'll have to ask them . But them's the Facts . Personally I would not of used Sahara OR Overland - they are already USED in other JEEP product lines .
ps; have you got any ideas for a JT Gladiator "Luxury" model ? Oh no this could be a new thread ?

Check out the Moab trim. Very nice. Still, it is a Jeep. This JT not a liberty interior, let alone a grand cherokee interior. Luxury jeep. Ugh.

Would a Jeep Gladiator luxury model be a “Senator” ? Just to keep with the Roman theme and all... or maybe patrecian?

Moab is also a clone facsimile of SAHARA with a few ornamental Rubicon items -- way over priced for my blood OR taste .
"Luxury" is in the eye of the beholder, as far as Wranglers, you could consider Moab and Sahara "Jeeps Luxury" level ! Certainly NOT any where near that of the higher tried G.C.'s ! Heck even my 2016 75th anniversary Laredo based 4X4 Trail Rated G.C. is more Comfy and "appointed" than any "luxury" Wrangler !

Max Tow isn’t a trim line, it’s just an option on sport and sport s.
You're right! Then it makes no sense. What's in an S that is so different from sport....
