Sold: Pennsylvania Insane JL3001 swap?

So I was always an apple guy, work gave me an Android so I figured I'd work with the native is for a radio. Works like a charm, just not a big fan of the interface. Considering stepping back to a 8.4 (unless theres some folks running carplay with luck on the jl3001). Might consider a 7" with a little added on? Just wanted to put it out there, see if anyone would be interested. Phone should be here by Thursday gonna give it a go and see what happens with an iPhone, if not likely going up for sale.

I've had no issues with Carplay on my JL3001 - running ios 14.2.1. Totalled my Gladiator last week, so that run was short lived.

If you don't like it with your iPhone, let me know...I might be interested in swapping my 7"...I'm an iPhone guy myself but have never heard there were issues with the droid tablet based head units running carplay

Posted this then went in for surgery and disappeared. The unit actually does work decently well with the iPhone. I think I’d still like to head back toward the more factory style. Still interested in an 8.4 if anyone is looking to upgrade to the JL3001. I’ll even include my front facing camera since I don’t know if it’ll work with the factory units. Open to a 7”, but not an even swap there.

I don't have an 8.4 to offer you, but just be careful on how you get one. From what I've read they are locked to individual vehicles as part of the "anti-theft" deterrent. Meaning, if someone stole it it won't work in anything but that vehicle. Not sure if you just go to the dealer to get that fixed or not. Just a word to the wise.
