I don't have Nittos, but KO2's at 37"... i have not chalk tested still, but I started at 41psi, did some experimentation, dropped to 26psi and then bounced back up to 30psi (cold) and that seems to be a good balance between ride quality and MPG. I don't know what load rating yours are, but mine are 124R/D2...

I run my 37" Kuhmo's at 32 cold. Tread wear seems to be even at this PSI. I tried it at 30 and 36 and seemed to wear a little uneven

Rocket Builder,
Posted some pictures! And there L/R. ā€œDā€

Had KO2ā€™s 2 sets 35ā€™s on my JKU 35x12ā€™s couldnā€™t keep them balanced, every 2K miles we were hopping down the road, every tire was worn differently, Discount replaced them with the 315-70-17, no more issues, kept the air in them at 34, and was on the beach one day and dropped it to 31psi and it was better in the sand and the ride home.

Tire air pressure is an interesting thing. And it does vary as a function of ambient temperature as well as temp. rise from driving. So I've learned not to expect "perfection" under all situations (unless one wants to drive themselves nutz trying). This is even more true on a Truck of this nature vs say a sports car or even a sports sedan. Generally, not trying to optimize high speed highway conditions. In a sports car I generally like to keep it close to the high-end spec.

The spec plate on my Mojave says to put in 37 psi. I have found that to be too high for my "typical" use profile. I get a much better ride (mix of street and general off roading) at about 34 psi cold. Not much of a change (8% only) but it makes a difference.

Obviously, beach driving has its own special needs. And if I was going to highway drive pavement for a couple of days straight I might change it back to 37.

If your speeds are under 80mph and you arent overloaded or towing. I would start at 24psi cold. Chalk it to check tread wear, run it for a bit then reduce if needed.

My 2020 sport s maxtow on 35" BFG KO2 22psi was its sweet spot. You have larger tires and could easily be looking at 20psi or so. It climbs significantly with temprature youll be seeing closer to 24psi on a long highway run but even tread wear, smoother steering and a more stable ride.

I have the exact same tires and run them at 28 psi. I tried 30 to see if the steering would feel any tighter but it doesnā€™t and the tires arenā€™t as flat across the entire tread area.

Rocket Builder,
This weekā€™s update: drove to Charlotte, and down to Columbia SC for a little lake time at a friends Memorial Day get together,

I have them down to 31 cold there about 34 warm, I like the ride. Had luggage in the bed and the bikes on the rack,

Iā€™m starting to feel the limits of the Rubicon suspension, Iā€™ve talked about the springy rear and rebound of the shocks, looking at Lift and shock options, see what the availability is before 1-12 months for delivery!
