So I called Geico (my current provider for the last 14 years, listed in their Preferred status with no accidents/tickets on record during this period). My current premium on a 2014 SRT is $102/month and I carry a $1000 deductible since I’m not accident-prone.

According to Geico, same coverage on the new Rubicon is $158/month! Seems crazy high? Obviously going shopping, curious who you’re using and what you’re paying?

Geico quoted me $5 less a month than I am paying on my 08 JK. 75 vs 70. Identical coverage.

I just called Progressive - not sure if this is real?

For the same policy as what I have with Geico but a $500 deductible (instead of $1k) I was quoted:
  • $21.27 first month
  • $54.16/month for 5 months
I had her run it on a similar VIN I grabbed since I don’t have mine yet but that seems crazy low!

State Farm quoted me $133 a month. Single, no kids, no accidents. I’ll be checking other companies as the time gets closer.

Geico for what ever reason are stupid expensive in my area (rural KY).

Mine went up $50 a month with Allstate...I asked, and was told it's a more expensive vehicle! I have all the safety options too!!! It costs slightly less than our RR Velar to insure....my JL was cheaper, less safe?!?!?!?!

I'm paying $191/month for the JLU and wife's '18 Cherokee combined.

If they tell me the Gladiator alone will be $135 I'll be in shock. Pick up trucks are almost always less expensive than cars or SUV's because of their intended use and the people who use them.

Look at this deal from Liberty Mutual. It’s posted on Mopar.com

We had a similar program with them through BMW. They were always much cheaper in our area.
