My First Jeep - I've always wanted a Jeep and decided the time was now, before I was too old to get up into it.
I'm a retired aerospace worker who just bought a 2020 Gladiator Overland. The truck is nicely optioned, has no lift and standard tires, but I LOVE it ! I don't know how much "modding" I'll be doing, but just driving it around is a blast.
I've been lurking here for a week or so and have learned a great deal just reading everyone else's posts. Please keep it up.

I've said this before with other newbies. You have to post your credit card info. So that we can buy the mods we think you need when you tell us what you what to do. Better make that 2 credit cards. Because we will smoke the first one pretty quick.

Welcome to the forum and your new lifestyle. I'm still fairly new to the gladiator, but not jeeps in general and I think the JT has my vote overall. This is a great forum, full of wisdom and knowledge and just the right amount of bs to keep it interesting.

Ok Mark, it’s time to get going, enough of all the nice comments , time you did the first mod that is apparent to everyone here!

Yes your antenna is bent it is not something that’s tolerated here, it is bent most likely from going through a car wash , my wife’s Wrangler got bent every time, including scraping the windshield frame. There are a lot of options out there and the shorter it gets the more your reception suffers, or you can do what I did on my Gladiator just cut it with pliers.
Unfortunately for you the first mod is like a trigger in your brain, do the antenna then next thing you will be buying stuff you don’t even know exists now, but we will help you learn!……Jack
