Seems like every package I track through fedex these days has a shipping exception due to weather. I don't think there was any severe weather in Texas yesterday, but I could be wrong.

In some ways I think the excuse of COVID has lowered the expectation of performance ....

Its coming by truck across the 40. Not good between Gallup to Flagstaff until you get on the western downside towards Needles.

FedEx has screwed up several deliveries to me in the past 5 months. They delivered my wife's iPhone 12 Pro to an address in another county. A few weeks ago, FedEx delivered something, my wife ordered, to another a house on an entirely different named street and the street number didn't even come close. I have to give the driver credit, he did get within a block of my house! The resident delivered it to me. Try talking to them on the phone right after the item showed it was delivered, 30 minutes, and they tell you to contact the seller to get a claim started. Why don't they contact the driver and let him correct his idiotic screw up!

This is totally true. I work for FedEx’s largest competitor and COVID was the beginning of a customer service downfall the likes of which I’ve never seen in my 29 years with the company. Now that COVID isn’t so much of an excuse it’s easy to use the weather/act of god excuse. It’s shameful.

And here, I must just be apart of the population who has the attitude of "it'll get here when it gets here". Although, I do get a bit concerned when it does take a super unreasonable amount of time...

Then again, I've grew up thinking "unless it's being shipped by Donkey, I expect a tracking number"

I also refrain from checking the checking the tracking 0.000000001 ms after placing an order like so many people do :CWL: And i've had just about every company dropping off at my door. If I wanted things sooner. I'd go get them myself.

Never really had a problem....And I even live out in the sticks. Knock on wood.

Haven't been through that area in a long time. You could be right.

But when you pay hundreds of dollars for next day service, and it doesn’t arrive until next week, it’s a bit disconcerting. And they won’t even refund your money anymore, either.

its been that way since that giant snow that went through everywhere.
I like to never got my softopper, I think they got backed up and just cant get caught up. I have a friend who works for them and he says they are doing their best that its just crazy. USPS and UPS havent had the same issues though. :headbang:
