Is it me, or does the Jeep windshield soak up way more bugs?

I feel like my windshield is covered in bug guts. I’ve don’t remember it ever being this bad on any other vehicle I’ve owned. I’m assuming it’s the steeper angle of the Jeep windshield. Y’all notice this? I’m not sure how effective they are, but it might be time to actually look into a bug deflector.

My windshield just cracked for the second time and I don't even have 10000 miles.

After a 3 hour drive here in Maine on the highway I can barely see thru the bug guts on mine......
Keep glass cleaner and paper towels in the truck.

yes, and it will also crack easier... Try to stay away from semis and dump trucks... Mine is already cracked... $550 for a new OEM one.

That’s why I paid $499 for my added windshield protection package when I bought mine. My auto insurance doesn’t offer free replacement, just free bullseye repairs.

USAA in California goes by your deductible for Comprehensive.... My deductible is $500.... I just ordered the Mopar Bug shield to see if that can help extend the life of the the second windshield that will be installed on Monday...

One of the guys in our Jeep group works for a windshield business and said that the Wrangler is the #1 windshield broken.

I read a thread bout this not long ago. The consensus was the various bug deflectors did little to stop the bugs and at best just moved the splatters to the top half of the windshield. I want to say that it was in the same thread someone installed exoshield to help prevent rock chips and it seemed to help him that that after one rock hit it.
