I ordered oil to do a transmission oil change and it hasnt arrived...if it doesnt as of tomorrow I will have to cancel it on amazon and get a refund. In the meantime Im trying to track down some to do the swap while the weather is friendly.

I have a warranty that goes until 100k and I dont want to clue the dealer in that i am doing anything they could use against me IF i find something when I send in an oil sample.

I can probably call a random dealer and just ask a parts guy what part number the fluid is.

FCP Euro has it for a good price with free shipping. I would recommend getting 7 liters. My change took 6.5.

7 - 8 is what im after since ive been reading and seeing guys use around 5. I’ll definitely get 8 if i can. Id rather have more than i need vs less

ZF recommends 60k for heavy use and 80k regular use. Jeep says never. So the general consensus is do what you can afford lol.

I guess its a gamble but im at 85k and tow often. So im WAY over the manufacturer recommendation.

A LOT of the fluid stays in the torque converter so really were only diluting the existing fluid with fresh fluid and swapping the filter in the pan.

im not touching a thing until I have all the stuff to fix it if it goes wrong. Since my first fluid order fell through now i need to find more before i crack it open.

How will you change it, just drop the pan and then refill the same amount that comes out?
