Yeah - that is how I read it. Only 3 models at the moment - Overland, Rudi and LE - all auto!

There is no manual option for the JL Wrangler in Australia either.

What a fuck up. Tow capacity 2721kg.
Unfortunately it will fail in Oz, and I can't see jeep surviving in Oz with total sales last year of 6000 vehicles Australia wide.....

I worry about Jeep closing too ... most of the sales have been Grand Cherokees! JL is just far too expensive at nearly $75,000 for a stock JLRU!

Interesting front bumper you guys get with the Rubi. Looks like a sport model with a variation on fog lite placement.

I dunno ... price is not too bad, high, but in the ball-park of what others will rip us for!

I reckon I'll wait and see what happens in about 6 months. Look to get one for summer.

I personally think the rubicon is VERY well priced for what it is.
But its such a niche product and will be a hard sale for your average joe blogs.

Its built and sold as a "lifestyle" vehicle, and nothing else. So its good at most things, perfect at none. But its also a fun convertible Jeep that's got hella nice luxury features. So its perfect for someone like me!
