The Jeep Gladiator Pickup has been spied up-close, with the first look at the interior. The interior is clearly still from the JK Wrangler, but expect that the production model will feature the JL Wrangler's interior.

As always, thank you Jay. I wish we could get a wardrobe malfunction on this girl just once. :like:

Dose that look like a sliding roof too anyone besides me. The front panels have vertical lines on it like the slide back on top of the back panels.

They sure are taking their time with it. Maybe that’s a good thing. The fender flares do not seem to be the higher design of the JL Rubi...

Interesting parts bin selections in that test mule. I keep hoping that the tailgate wrapping will blow off and we get to see what the back end will look like. Thing I am still curious about is how the rear seat area will look and be designed as well as if the hardtop will have a third brake light/bed light like most pickups. Really hoping for a traditional style tailgate with "Jeep" embossed across it. Thanks for sharing Jay!

I was thinking the same thing. The windshield surround looks different from a JL from what I can gather and the roof lines and height of the top look much higher. Not really sure what to make of all of that to be honest. Maybe its a single piece hardtop for testing purposes? I just hope its not a fixed roof.

The brake light is curious, since I don't recall seeing any 3rd light in the renderings or previous spy shots. There's a photo from last year with the brake lights on, and you only see the left/right lights under the camo. They seem to have the entire tailgate under the heavier cover, but even if they placed it at the top of the tailgate where the flap is, I don't think that's be high enough to meet the standards.

I don't think we really learned much from seeing the test mule interior, but I do appreciate it! Always improves your day seeing a new rendering or spy shot. :)

Apparently that's the steering wheel from a Chrysler 300. :cwl:

And thanks JAY, anything you can get us is always appreciated! Hopefully we'll see some updated mules in a few months as the factory gets retooled.

Glad to see everyone seems to universally used the door handle as the cell phone carry spot...
