So in my constant curiosity and impatient-ness, I went ahead and registered my Rubicon with mopar using the VIN.

A couple things I found noteworthy:
My Jeep wave and Sirius XM start dates were 6-20-2019. I haven't taken ownership of the vehicle yet as it hasn't been delivered to my dealer yet.

Anyone else who is impatiently waiting registered with their VIN and observed this?

Now I have received an email from fca asking about my recent purchase from Tri-City lol.

Maybe a doppleganger bought my Rubicon already? Just strange to see all this prior to the vehicle being delivered to the dealer.

Why would u register it so early? The dealership does that for you.

+1 ... this is an instance where being early isn't a good thing. By the time the truck arrives the SiriusXM trial will have expired while the Uconnect was on some cart in Toledo awaiting installation.

If you are using you free trial, at least use it to track your JT. Probably more accurate than any info you get from Jeep.

I didn't register the Sirius XM nor the Jeep Wave. Those were already registered (a full 4 days prior) when I logged into the mopar account.

Also, if that's the case, sounds like a QA issue from Jeep, which should be identified and remediated-oh that's right this is FCA we are talking about, they don't care lol

It's not an FCA issue....the OP jumped the gun and registered a product without knowing the consequences

Naw, I didn't register Jeep Wave nor Sirius XM. Registering with mopar.com should not have and did not trigger those events (they were registered on 6/20, a full 4 days prior). That is what the post is referring to.

But hey, it's no sweat. I'll sort it out later. Happy Trails my friend.

[EDIT: Grammar.]
